Over the years Max has said some things that are pretty dang funny. Usually, when he says something really outrageous or profound, we label it a Maxism and we write it down. He's only 6-years-old and already we could fill a book with the things that have come out of his mouth. And at the age of two, Marco is making his own contributions to a future book. Now that we've got the family blog poppin' I'll be sharing some of Max and Marco's "isms" with the world.
So last night the boys asked me to read one of their favorite books at bedtime, "Who Sat on Me?" This little ditty was a gift from Auntie Kelly a looooong, looooong time ago, way before Marco was even born. Now, Marco knows the book by heart and can "read" it to us. Anyway, I finish the book and I start wrapping it up and shutting it down, because it's like 10 o' clock (I know, I know...why are they still up?) Before I could turn off the light Max hits me: "Uh, Mom I have a few comments and questions for Marco about the book."
Right. What the...?
So I said, "Okay Max, but since it's 10 'o clock you'll have to ask your questions in the dark." I turned off the light and walked out. I overhear his first question for Marco: "Marco, what was the biggest animal in the book, and what was the smallest?"
Marco is stumped. Goodnight.

(PS: I don't want to ruin the book for you, but let me just say, if this animal sat on you, you'd be as flat as a pancake.)
