I'm the Map, I'm the Map, I'm the Map

Those of you who have yet to fully grasp the mastery and the mystery that is Dora the Explorer, will not be able to appreciate the title of this post. Those of you who have seen one or two, or 2,000 episodes of the Nickelodeon cartoon ... holla! On Sunday we tried to have a little family time -- we played soccer, hung out with friends, and then we went to pick out a Christmas tree. Very bourgie, I know. By the time we bagged the tree the boys were fighting in the car like wildmen. I was desperate to keep them quiet. I opened the glove compartment for a toy, a Band-Aid, some Benadryl...anything to keep them quiet. I reached in and pulled out two laminated maps of New Jersey. One each! Handed them to the boys and told them to find England. Sigh. Peace in the valley at last. Sadly, it worked a little too well for Marco, who now sleeps with his map of the Garden State every night.
