Tonight was the night all Gaston Day School grandparents live for: the GDS Spring Recital, featuring a mix of Beethoven ("Ode to Joy"), Lurye ("Goodbye Song"), Withers ("Lean On Me") and ... "Mary Had a Little Lamb" (artist: Unknown). Yes, that was Marco's class' contribution to the "sold-out" show. Hand gestures and accompanist doesn't justify the money I've spent. Yes, it was cute … but worth a used Camry on 22's? (No!) Nonetheless, here's my Little Champion posing next to some other kid's artwork. Lest we forget Max, who actually drew that pic.
