First of all, this is Mark writing (not Heather). If you know anything about Heather's family, you know they're all about Christmas Eve. They sing, dance, hug, cry, eat--and, of course, open gifts. Not big gifts (that's for Christmas day). We're talking tsotchkes (a loaf of bread, the Lou Rawls Best Of CD, your favorite cereal). Well, my kids ain't down with that. They want real gifts--on Christmas Eve and Day. So, for awhile, there, Christmas Eve was not cool. That all changed on the 25th, thankfully. (Lucky for them, Heather's fam is all about Christmas day, too.)
