Remember 1999? We do. We got married ...

When I asked this woman for her hand on Oct. 8, 1999, Maxwell's "Fortunate" was hot. TLC's "No Scrubs" was a chart-topper. Lauryn Hill's "Ex-Factor" steady-stayed on the radio. Tyrese's "Sweet Lady" was every black woman's anthem (his screamin' ass). And, since we have plenty of white friends, Backstreet Boys, Shania Twain, 'N Sync and Ricky Martin made us bob our heads too. Man, it was 1999 -- and Y2K was all the rage. That same year, I married this woman, and it's been one hell of a ride (9 years, if you're counting at home). We recently went back to the scene of the crime -- the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (a cop took this pic, while we illegally parked). Ain't much changed ... 'cept that we're happier today than we were then. And she's hotter than ever. We got the keeds to prove it! Loya, boo!
