A few tricks. A few treats. Halloween '08 was all fun and games until Max and Marco had dueling meltdowns at about 7:30. Day started out with an in-school Halloween parade for Marco's class (check out the video below). Around midday Max's class got to do their thing. I wasn't able to be there but I'm sure there was lots of sugar and pizza for all. Picked the boys up, they killed some time having scooter wars until we went to a neighborhood party... and then the moment Max has been waiting for all year...the disco hay ride. Our neighbor across the street fuels up, then fuels up again (if you know what i mean), then loads bales of hay onto some sort of trailer-cart contraption that everybody down south has, and drives the kids around the 'hood for candy. Oh, one lucky adult gets to ride in the back with the kids. Guess who it was this year??? Ding, ding, ding. Yep, me. Guess who it was last year?? Ding, ding, ding. Mark. WTF? I refused to take pictures of the kids sitting on bales of hay. But here are a few pictures of the cutest werewolf and blue power ranger you've ever seen.
